House, late C17 or earlier origins but of late C18 appearance. Brown brick with tile roof. 3 storeys and attic, 3 bays. The north-west wing completes an "L" shaped plan. Moulded sandstone plinth. Slightly projecting centre bay with stone gable pediment. Part bolection moulded six-panel door, with rectangular overlight, in rusticated stone dressed opening with triple keystone, approached up four steps. Wide sashes with small upper lights, exposed weight boxes, stone sills and cambered arches. Brick dentil course at eaves. Gable-end stacks. The north gable and west wing have 3-light flush casements but some openings in the gable are blocked. The side (north) door is four-panel with bolection moulds. Interior: The inglenook beam is moulded in C15 style. Six-panel doors on HL hinges. Moulded plaster cornices, plaster cased beams. C17 roof frame with many reused timbers and trusses with three posts between tie beam and collar, tiebeam braces, from queen posts and collar level braces from King post above collar.
