Description
Boults Green Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that features a timber frame with brick infill and stands two storeys tall. The entrance front includes a projecting wing on the right, showcasing close studding on the ground floor supported by tension braces. The first floor jetties out, held up by moulded brackets and a moulded bressumer, with small-framing and angle braces. The building has three-light casement windows on the ground, first, and attic floors. To the left, there is a recessed section primarily made of brick, which is painted to resemble timber framing. On the right, there is a 19th-century lean-to porch located in the re-entrant angle with the wing. Adjacent to the porch, there is a three-light window on the ground floor and a two-light casement window above it on the first floor. Further left, a gabled section features a three-light casement window and more simulated timber framing. A ridge chimney stack is positioned to the left of centre. The left side of the farmhouse displays small-framing with angle braces, a large chimney stack with offsets and two flues located left of centre, and two three-light casement windows from the 20th century, along with a two-light and a three-light window on the first floor.
