Description

The barn north of Woodworth Green Farmhouse dates from the early 17th century. It features a timber frame clad in corrugated metal sheets, with a matching corrugated sheet roof. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three window bays. It has a sandstone plinth and small framing with passing braces. Inside, there are trusses with tie beams and collars, along with four posts between them. The barn also retains old purlins, a ridgetree, and shaped wind braces.
