House, now offices. Circa 1760. English garden wall bond brick, of varying numbers of courses, with rendered plinth and ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 2 bays. Steps to 4-panelled door with overlight, under wedge stone lintel, at left. Sash windows with glazing bars, tripartite under stretcher course on ground and second floors. Stone floor and eaves bands; stone-coped parapet. Irregular hipped roof with brick chimney. Part of the property of Trinity House, Newcastle; the Secretary's room is incorporated in the rear of the house.
