Live Theatre Workshop

The Live Theatre Workshop is a warehouse that has been converted into a theatre workshop. It is part of the property of Trinity House on Broad Chare and dates from possibly the early 18th century, incorporating some fragments from the 17th century. The building has been altered in the 20th century and features brickwork of varying bonds and a Welsh slate roof. It stands four storeys tall with a raised hoist and consists of four bays. On the left side, there is a segmental-headed arched vehicle entrance, while an inserted door is located on the right. The loading stack has been bricked up. The building also has segmental brick arches above renewed two-light windows and a three-brick-deep band on the second floor, with a gable over the roof hoist.
