Description
This outbuilding, located to the east of the former Trinity House numbers 9 and 10 in Newcastle upon Tyne, dates from around 1778 and is contemporary with the almshouse range on the east side of the Trinity House courtyard. It is constructed of limewashed local brick and features a Welsh slate roof with rendered coping. The building is a single storey and has a blank front, except for a lunette in the gable end that matches the blocked central arches above the tripartite windows of the almshouse range. It is listed for its group value with both almshouse ranges.
