Description
The Trinity Maritime Centre, originally built as two warehouses around 1840 for Trinity House in Newcastle upon Tyne, is now a museum. The building has four storeys and seven bays, constructed from English garden wall bond brick with a Welsh slate roof. In the late 19th century, shop fronts were added, and the vehicle entrance on the left was altered. The building features bricked-up loading bays on all floors in the third and seventh bays, with segmental brick arches and projecting stone sills above barred 2-light windows. It remains part of the property of Trinity House.
