Description
The Former Trinity House, located on Trinity Chare in Newcastle upon Tyne, is a pair of almshouses built in 1820 for Trinity House, Newcastle. The building is constructed from rendered painted brick and features a Welsh slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has six bays. The first three bays are blind, while the fourth bay contains a double four-panelled door with an overlight, topped by a wedge stone lintel. The next two bays feature wide sash windows with late 19th-century wooden lintels and glazing bars. The upper floor is blank. The hipped roof is adorned with two tall chimneys.
