Description
Number 2 and the adjacent cottage to the west, now part of the Georgian Theatre Complex, is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall. Cottage No 2 features one window on each floor, constructed of brick with a new pantile double-pitched roof and a single brick chimney. The windows are Yorkshire sliding types with glazing bars, and the ground floor has close boarded shutters. The door is also close boarded and framed. The windows have brick relieving arches and wooden box gutters. The adjacent cottage is set back from Cottage No 2 and is also made of brick with a new pantile roof and one chimney. It has two windows on the first floor; the left window is a modern vertical sliding type with plain glass, while the right window is a modern double window with a mullion, vertical slides, and plain glass. There is a plain doorway as well.
