Description

The Green Dragon Inn is a mid-18th century building that has been significantly restored. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantiled roof. The inn stands three storeys high and has six windows, which contain replaced sashes with glazing bars set under flat gauged brick arches, although not all are in their original positions. The building has a heavy modillion eaves cornice and wooden gutters, along with three brick chimney stacks. There is a later one-bay extension on the left, which has horizontal emphasis casements. A small wooden public house front has been recently added, and there is a cobbled yard in front of the inn. Inside, only some timber panelling remains on the second floor.
