18.3.74 Nos 4 and 5 GV II

Mid C18 colour washed brick. Slate roof with brick stacks. 4 storeys and plain parapet of four slightly raised courses and moulded stone coping. Brick flat arches to 5 ranges of cased sashes with glazing bars. 3rd floor single hung. Canted bay with flanking pilasters, moulded cornice and sashes with glazing bars on 1st floor to left. 2 half doors, 4 panel arch. Central through passage Substantially intact C19 shop front:- No 4 has 2 shop windows with recessed central entrance; No 5 has an angled entrance to shop. Wide overall fascia with carved end brackets. The rear extension faced Green Dragon Yard and form part of a separate group. 3 and 2½ storey 2 window extension of brick, with one half dormers. Yorkshire sashes on left, large opening with derrick on right.
