Description
No 1 Theatre Yard is an 18th-century building that stands at right angles to and projects from No 2, nearly closing the cobbled Theatre Yard, with an art gallery opposite. The building has two storeys and features painted rendering, a recently added pantiled roof with one brick chimney, and brick coping to the gable. The entrance is located in the gable end. There are two windows on the east side, which have thick glazing bars on the first floor, and a wide opening below that is obscured by a notice board. To the left, there is a hatch opening. To the northeast, there is an archway leading to Wasps Nest Passage, which is part of No 29 Silver Street.
