Description

No. 2 Market Place is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys high and features a rough rendered exterior. It has a stone slate roof with a kneeler. The elevation facing Manor Square includes three windows, one of which is blocked, and has stone architraves without glazing bars, along with an additional window. The building has a modern shop front. The Market Place elevation showcases a Venetian window above a two-light window.

No. 2, along with Nos. 2 to 8 (even) and Nos. 16 to 20 (even) Boroughgate, forms a group of buildings of architectural significance.
