Description
No. 4 Court Street is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys high and features five windows. It is constructed of red brick and has a painted wooden cornice with modillions at the eaves. There is a painted string course above the first floor, and the first floor windows are adorned with long and short quoins and keystones. The building has a hipped tiled roof, although the glazing bars are missing. The shop front is modern. No. 4, along with Nos. 1 to 11 (consecutive) and 11A, forms a group with Nos. 4 to 7 (consecutive) and No. 7A in The Market Place.
