Description

This is a 15th-century timber-framed building that was later refronted in the 18th century. It is located on Court Street, and now comprises numbers 2 and 3. The building retains the overhang of the second floor supported by bressumers. The exterior is painted brick with a parapet and tiled roofs. It is two storeys high and has two windows on the front elevation. Modern shop fronts are present at ground floor level. Number 2 has sash windows above the ground floor, including a small bay window on the first floor. Number 3 has casement windows. Numbers 1 to 11 (inclusive) and 11A form a group with numbers 4 to 7 (inclusive) and number 7A on The Market Place.
