Description

No. 28 Westgate is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high, constructed of brick with a pantile roof and a diagonal-set brick eaves cornice. The facade features two windows with moulded wood frames and no glazing bars, along with a brick band between the storeys. On the ground floor, there is a modern 'Georgian' window with three lights and a modern 'Georgian' doorway that includes pilasters and a pediment, leading to a panelled door. To the right, there is a garage door. The building also has a cemented plinth and a foot scraper. No. 28 is part of a group that includes Nos. 28 to 34 (even) and 38 to 42 (even).
