Description

Nos 30 and 32 Westgate are 18th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall, constructed of brick with a pantile roof and two brick stacks. They feature a diagonal-set brick eaves cornice and have two windows on each of the two upper storeys, with flat stone lintels that include keystones. A stone string course runs between the ground and first floors. The buildings have a rubble plinth topped with stone. On the ground floor, there are two plain shop windows and a door that is of 19th-century design, complete with a cornice and a foot scraper. There is also a passage entry to the left. Nos 28 to 34 (even) and 38 to 42 (even) form a group with these buildings.
