Description

23 Westgate has origins dating back to the 18th century. It is a two-storey building constructed of painted brick with a rendered plinth. The first floor features one window with a single light and another with three lights. On the ground floor, there is one window with three lights and a doorway flanked by reeded pilasters, topped with an ornamental rectangular fanlight. The door consists of six fielded panels. The rear of the building has no notable features. It is topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 15 to 19 (odd), 25, along with No 17A and the Kesteven County Council Clinic and Offices, which are all of local interest.
