Description

No 20B on Westgate is an early 19th-century 'Gothick' building that stands two storeys tall, constructed of red brick with a hipped Welsh slate roof. It is small in size and resembles a lodge. The front elevation features one pointed Gothick window with Gothick glazing on the first floor, along with a modern 'Georgian' bay window on the ground floor. There is a stone plinth at the base. The side elevation includes two irregular Gothick windows on the first floor and one blocked window, as well as two irregular windows on the ground floor. A pointed-arched doorway with a wooden door is also present, along with a plinth. There is a modern one-storey extension attached to the building. No 20B is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 22 (even).
