Description

No. 17A on Westgate is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick. It features two windows with hung sashes that have glazing bars, and these windows are topped with slightly segmental arches. There is a passage entry to the left of the building, and an old iron sign bracket is present, displaying the legend 'Temperance and Commercial Hotel' on a band.
