Description

No. 8 Westgate is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed of brick with narrow stone bands separating the storeys. It features two windows with moulded frames and shaped stucco lintels that rise to a point in the centre, and there are no glazing bars present. At the time of the survey in Spring 1973, the ground floor was undergoing alterations. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 2 to 22 (even), including No. 20B.
