Description

No 4 Westgate is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high, constructed from coursed stone with a pantile roof and a central brick chimney stack. It features a wooden eaves cornice and has two windows with moulded wooden frames, hung sashes, and glazing bars. The shop front, dating from the 19th century, includes plain pilasters and a modern design. To the left, there is a segmental-arched passage entry. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 22 (even), including No 20B.
