Description

No. 5 Northgate is an 18th-century building that has been painted and features a steep roof covered in Welsh slates. The structure is accented by rusticated quoins and has a modillion eaves cornice. There are two windows with moulded surrounds that do not have glazing bars. The ground floor has a shop front that dates from the 19th century and includes modern elements. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 9 (odd) and No. 3A.
