No. 2 Westgate is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed from coursed stone with brick on the side. It features a dentil eaves cornice and has two windows with moulded frames that do not have glazing bars. The building has a modern shop front. No. 2, along with Nos. 2 to 22 (even), including No. 20B, forms a group.
