Description
15 Churchgate is a building with origins in the 18th century, which underwent alterations in the early to mid 19th century. It stands three storeys tall, is rendered, and features a Welsh slate roof with paired brackets at the eaves. The facade has three windows with later glazing, all having moulded surrounds and iron window guards. The first-floor windows are distinguished by shouldered surrounds and a band at the cills. The ground floor is roughly rendered and includes two windows with moulded surrounds and a cornice. A stone plinth supports the structure. To the left of the facade is a doorway with a moulded surround and a pediment, topped by a rectangular fanlight above a six-panel door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 33 (odd).
