Description

4 Chapelgate is an early 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of brick, which has been rendered. It features a new pantile roof. The façade includes six windows, with hung sashes and glazing bars on the first floor, and glazing bars on the top floor. There is a plain modern eaves cornice. The ground floor has three modern bow windows with glazing bars. The central main door is adorned with a small pulvinated frieze and a dentil cornice. There is a yard entry to the right. This building is part of a group with Nos 2 to 14 (even).
