Description

Ye Olde Sun Inn is a small building, likely dating from the 16th century. It features a steep roof covered with new pantiles and stands two storeys high with rough rendering. The building has a rebuilt central chimney stack and three modern three-light casement windows with glazing bars on the upper floor. The ground floor has four windows, also modern, with glazing bars. There is a modern recessed door and a carriage entry to the left. Ye Olde Sun Inn is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 14 on the south side of Chapelgate.
