Description
24 Chapelgate is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys high, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The facade features three windows, with brick voussoirs above them. The top floor has modern glazing bars, while one window on this floor is a three-light design without glazing bars and has a segmental-arched head. The first-floor windows are hung sashes with glazing bars, except for the rightmost window, which is a three-light design with sliding sashes and glazing bars. The ground floor has two modern windows with glazing bars. A brick eaves cornice runs along the top, and the entrance door consists of six panels, with later brick voussoirs above it, leading to a segmental carriage entry. This building is part of a group with Nos 24 to 28 Chapelgate.
