Description

This is a late 18th-century church house, situated on the south side of Chapelgate. The building is constructed of red brick with a modern roof and a brick dentil eaves cornice. A brick band separates the two storeys. It features six windows with cambered flush frames, hung sash windows with glazing bars. A recessed door of six panels is set within a plain doorcase, which includes pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. Above the door is a blocked rectangular fanlight. A segmental-headed carriage entry is also present. Nos 24 to 28 form a group.
