Description

1 Churchgate is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall with an attic storey. It features two blocked windows and has rendered lintels. The building is topped with a stone-coped parapet and has a brick band between the storeys. There are two windows on each storey, with brick voussoirs and no glazing bars; the glazing on the first floor appears slightly bowed. The shop front dates from the mid to late 19th century. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 33 (odd).
