Description

Dating to the late 18th century, 2 and 4 Bridgegate are a pair of buildings with rough rendered facades and pantile roofs. They are three storeys high, and included as part of a group with buildings in the Market Place and with the White Hart Hotel. Number 2 has a diagonal-set eaves cornice. It features two modern windows above two windows with hung sashes, above a mid- to late 19th-century shop front. Number 4 has one window in a moulded wood surround, above a mid-19th-century canted bay, above a modern shop front.
