Description

No. 16 Bridgegate is an early 19th century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed of brick and featuring an eaves cornice supported by brackets. The façade has three windows with hung sashes that include glazing bars on the second and third floors, and brick voussoirs above the windows. The shop front is designed with wide plain pilasters, a fascia, and a cornice. There is also a round-headed passage entry. This building forms a visual group with Nos. 11 and 13 located opposite.
