Description

Nos 4 and 6 Market Place are early to mid-19th century buildings located on the north side of the marketplace. They are three storeys high, constructed from stone, and topped with a stone slate roof. There are two chimney stacks at the gable ends. The buildings feature two windows, with a band that continues along the cills and heads of the first-floor windows. The shop fronts are modern and from the late 19th century. These buildings are included as part of a group with Nos 2 to 8 (even) and Nos 16 to 20 (even) Boroughgate.
