Description
Nos 16 and 18 Market Place is a building from the 18th century. The ground floor front has been converted into two shops. Above these shops, the building features a pedimented gable made of ashlar stone. The first floor has three windows, all with moulded architraves, and the central window has a cornice above it, with no glazing bars. In the triangle of the pediment, there is a semi-circular window with two mullions. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 8 (even) and Nos 16 to 20 (even) as well as Nos 2 to 8 (even) Boroughgate.
