Description
The Bay Horse Public House is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of Market Place. It features a front elevation made of stone and stands three storeys tall, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The gable has coping and is adorned with one brick chimney and one stone chimney. The building has paired corbels that support the gutter.
There are two windows on the front, which are divided by plain mullions and have plain cills and jambs, with some glazing bars still intact. The doorway is framed by a stone architrave.
The Bay Horse Public House is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 8 (even) and Nos 16 to 20 (even) as well as Nos 2 to 8 (even) on Boroughgate.
