Description

No 8 Market Place is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of the market square. It stands four storeys tall and is constructed of stone. The façade features one window framed in a stone architrave, with no glazing bars except for the top floor. The ground floor has a modern shop front. This building is included as part of a group with Nos 2 to 8 (even) and Nos 16 to 20 (even), as well as Nos 2 to 8 (even) Boroughgate.
