Description

No. 34 Westgate is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high and features two windows. It has a higher frontage and roofline compared to No. 32. The building has a tiled gabled roof and is finished in stucco. A small cornice with modillions is located below the eaves, and there is a stringcourse above the ground floor. The sash windows have flush boxes, although the glazing bars are missing. The doorway is framed with fluted detailing and has a hood supported by brackets, leading to a four-panelled door. There is a similar door to the west side, which provides access through a passageway in the house. This building was formerly a public house.
