Description

Nos 30 and 32 Westgate are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall with an attic, featuring one dormer each. No 32 has three windows, while No 30 has one. The buildings have a tiled roof and are finished in stucco. They include sash windows with flush boxes, and No 32 retains thick glazing bars. A projecting plinth is present at the base. No 32 features a doorway with a moulded architrave and a rectangular pediment above, while the doorcase in No 30 has been removed, with both doors set within reveals. No 32 has six-panelled doors with the top four panels cut away and glazed, whereas No 30 has the top two panels cut away and glazed. Nos 16 to 48 (even) are part of a group.
