Description

This is an 18th-century building of three storeys, situated on the south side of Westgate. It has a hipped tiled roof and is constructed of red brick, with a small brick eaves cornice featuring modillion detailing. The building has three windows per floor. The sash windows are set in reveals with flat arches, and the arches have rubbed brick voussoirs; the glazing bars are intact. The outer windows are wider than the central windows, each being one pane wider on either side. A doorway features Doric columns supporting a pediment. The doorway contains a six-panelled door, with the top four panels cut away and glazed. The building is part of a group of properties, numbers 11 to 25 (odd), which share a visual connection.
