Description
No 22 on Westgate is a former building known as No 43, dating from the 18th century. It is two storeys high and has two windows. The building features a tiled roof that has a lower roofline compared to No 20. Constructed from red brick, it has a blocked window made of grey headers. There is a small cornice with modillions located below the eaves and a stringcourse above the ground floor. The sash window has flush boxes, although the glazing bars are missing. The ground floor window is set within a segmental arch. The doorway has a fluted frame topped with a broken pediment supported by consoles; it features a four-panelled door with the panels cut away and glazed.
