Description
16 Westgate is an 18th-century building of two storeys and three windows. The facade is stuccoed with a stringcourse above the ground floor. It has sash windows with intact glazing bars within flush boxes. An early 19th-century shop front occupies the ground floor, although the window and glazing bars are modern replacements. A door provides passage through the building to the east. The building is part of a group with numbers 16 to 48 (even) on the North Side of Westgate.
