Description

This is an early 19th-century building on the South Side of Westgate. It originally numbered 7. The building is three storeys high with a basement, but its elevation is lower than the adjacent building at number 15. It has a single window bay and a slate roof with a hip at the western end, featuring overhanging eaves. The exterior is stuccoed, and the sash windows are set in reveals with flat arches; the glazing bars remain intact. A flight of four steps with an iron handrail leads to a doorway with an elliptical arch, which contains a six-panelled door. The top four panels of the door are cut away and glazed. Numbers 11 to 25 (the odd numbers) are grouped together.
