Description

This is an 18th-century building on the north side of Westgate. It was originally the easternmost part of number 44. The building is two storeys high with an attic, and has one window. It has a tiled roof that extends continuously with numbers 36, 38, and 40, and includes one dormer window with a hipped tiled roof. There is a sash window with a flush box. The doorway has a moulded frame and cornice above. The door itself is set within panelled reveals and is a four-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above it. Numbers 16 to 48 (even numbers) form a group.
