Description
Nos. 6, 7, and 8 High Street are three cottages dating from the 18th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a plinth and a plat band. The roof is covered with old tiles and has a dentil brick eaves cornice, with an end stack to the left and a ridge stack that is off-centre to the right. The cottages are two storeys high.
On the first floor, there are three two-light casement windows, with the one on the right having 20th-century louvred shutters. The ground floor has four two-light segmental headed casement windows; the leftmost window has boarded shutters, and the second from the right also features 20th-century louvred shutters. There is a four-panelled door with a flat bracketed hood located between the first and second windows from the left, and a half-glazed door with a flat bracketed hood situated between the second and third windows from the left. The entrance to No. 6 is located at the rear.
