Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is an early 18th-century house with 19th-century window replacements, situated on the south side of Streatley High Street. The house is constructed of red brick with grey headers, a plinth, and a projecting band. It has a coved plaster eaves cornice and an old tile roof with an end stack to the right, along with three hipped dormers, each containing a two-light casement window. The building is arranged over a basement, two storeys, and an attic.

The first floor has three two-light casement windows with Gothic traceried heads. The ground floor features two three-light casement windows, also with Gothic traceried heads and heavy stone surrounds. A central six-panelled door, topped with a rectangular two-light overlight, is set within a heavy stone surround supported by a cornice on scrolled brackets.
