Description
The Cottage is an 18th-century house with a 20th-century addition on the east side. It is constructed of red brick, featuring a rendered plinth and a plat band. The building has a dentil brick eaves cornice beneath an old tile roof that is hipped to the left, with an end stack on that side. The house is two storeys high and has two bays. On the first floor, there are two 2-light leaded casement windows, while the ground floor has two glazing bar sash windows. The 20th-century addition is set back to the left and is also made of red brick, with a dentil brick eaves cornice and a tile roof that is half hipped to the left. This addition is one storey high, featuring a glazing bar sash window to the right and an 8-panelled door to the left. The Cottage is included for its group value with nearby structures.
