Description
Streatley House is a late 18th-century house located on the south side of Streatley High Street. It is constructed of red brick with tuck pointing, featuring gauged window heads and rusticated stucco quoins. There are stucco bands between each floor, and the building has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a parapet above a hipped old tile roof with end stacks. The house is three storeys tall and has five bays, with slight variations in the width between the windows, which are fitted with glazing bar sashes. The central entrance features a six-panelled door with a wreathed radial fanlight and panelled reveals. The doorcase is adorned with attached Ionic columns and an entablature above, which includes urns and a dentil cornice leading to an open triangular pediment. At the rear, there is a large 19th-century bay window.
