Description

Seagull Cottage is an 18th-century building located on Salt Pan Well Steps. It is two storeys tall and constructed of brick, with the upper storey rendered. The roof is made of pantiles. On the first floor, there are two windows: one with two lights and another with three lights, with one featuring fixed glazing and one opening light. The ground floor has a similar fixed-light window with modern glazing and a three-light fixed-light window set in an elliptical-headed reveal. The door also has a similar elliptical head and there is one step at the entrance. Seagull Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 6 and Nos 8 to 13, along with Nos 1 to 4 White Cottages.
