Description

The Church of St Patrick (Roman Catholic) is an 18th-century building that was originally a private house. It is two storeys high and constructed of brick, topped with a pantile roof. The building features a newly pointed parapet with a corniced capping, and it has six windows with painted brick voussoirs, flush frames, and double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The passage doorway is adorned with a brick arch and has a blocked rectangular fanlight above it. A stone plinth supports the structure, which also has three brick chimneys. The church is part of a group that includes Nos 11 to 14 and Nos 18 to 22 on Church Street.
