These are two 18th-century cottages located at 9 and 11 Barn Street. The cottages are constructed of whitewashed brick with a pitched roof covered in old tiles and brick stacks. They are two storeys high with attics. Each cottage has a range of casement windows, with No. 11 having a sash window on the ground floor; all windows retain glazing bars. Each cottage has a planked door, with the door at No. 11 being flush-panelled, set within a segment-headed opening. There is one attic dormer window with tile-hung cheeks and casements.
